The Urban Development Corporation (UDCORP) under its mandate of encouraging and assisting Local Authorities in planning urban growth and development as well as improving the standards of living of general populace of Zimbabwe is inviting Environmentalists to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) for registration on the Corporate’s Consultants Database.
- Coordinates the implementation of all requisite Environmental Management policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that significant environmental and social risks are identified, correctly managed and communicated to all person el.
- Ensuring the legal requirements pertaining to the study area are incorporated into environmental management plans.
- Undertake Environmental and Social audits and inspections and report findings
- Implementation of strategies and practises that help foster environmental protection including surrounding communities.
- Prepares and timeously submit ad-hoc, weekly, monthly, annual performance reports.
- BSc Honors Environmental Science/Equivalent
- MBA/MSc in Environmental Management or equivalent and added advantage.
- At least 6 years’ experience with 3 years’ experience in a similar role in construction industry degree in Geography or any related qualification from a reputable institution.
- Knowledge of Zimbabwean environmental and social legal framework.
- Proven working experience - A minimum of 5 years
- Ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team.
